Disclaimer
Information on Truck-Size is compiled with care, but must always be verified before choosing tires.
Accuracy
Information is provided "as is". While every effort is made to keep it accurate and current, completeness and freedom from errors are not guaranteed.
Model, chassis and market differences
Manufacturers may fit different tires to the same model depending on country, model year, axle configuration (4x2, 6x2, 6x4, 8x4), chassis and suspension options. On trailers, tire size mostly depends on the axle type and ordered specification. The sizes shown may not match every individual vehicle.
Before you buy
Before buying or fitting tires, rely on the size, load and speed index on the current tire's sidewall, the vehicle registration and owner's manual, and the advice of a qualified tire professional. Never fit tires whose load index does not cover the vehicle's axle load.
Legal obligations
Tire size, load capacity, tread depth and winter tire use on commercial vehicles are regulated differently in each country. A size change may affect speedometer and tachograph calibration. Compliance is the responsibility of the vehicle owner and operator.
Calculators
Pressure, load, dual-tire matching, tread life and comparison tools produce approximate values. The tire manufacturer's load and inflation tables always prevail.
